In the single window, the former port unit's "serial" supervision mode was changed to "parallel" mode, so that the application could be accepted in one lump, the data submitted in one lump, the examination and approval could be conducted in parallel, and the results could be released in one lump, which greatly improved the efficiency of customs clearance and shortened the processing time.For the "single window" version 1.0 that has been built, enterprises have really felt the reform dividend.

According to the statistics of Shanghai customs, by September 31, 2015, enterprises at Shanghai port had declared 67,000 batches of goods for import and export through the "single window" platform, and handled 10,000 vessel departure procedures.A total of 115 enterprises participated in the pilot cargo declaration, and 64 enterprises participated in the pilot ship declaration.

Currently, apart from Shanghai and overseas, tianjin and fujian single window for international trade have been put into operation in 2015, and guangdong province has launched a pilot project for the construction of single window for international trade in nansha port area of guangzhou port and shenzhen port dachuowan port.Ports in liaoning, shandong, zhejiang, jiangsu and other coastal areas have also carried out different levels of single window construction, and the construction is generally progressing smoothly.
